This directory contains updated versions of iDempiere 3.1 Virtual Appliance.

It has been created with Oracle VirtualBox V5.1.6_Debian r110634 
and using Alpine Linux to keep the download size comparably small

After download of the file start VirtualBox
In the VirtualBox Manager menu select "File > Import Appliance" 

After starting the appliance wait for the login prompt appearing 
then use a browser on your host to access 
https://192.168.56.42:8443/webui

Login with
GardenAdmin / GardenAdmin 
or 
GardenUser / GardenUser 
or 
SuperUser / System
and explore iDempiere

If you want to go a bit further you can login to the IVA using
vagrant / vagrant and use sudo to execute things as root

Depending on where you are in the world typing text inside the machine 
may give you strange results. Then execute 'sudo setup-keymap' to select a better 
suited keyboard layout

Please be advised:
The IVA is created for testing iDempiere! 
When installing iDempiere for production use it is recommended 
to use a different user - like 'idempiere' - for security reasons!
