The u-boot.asc file can be used for restore orignal firmware if nand fully crashed on you router.

That file provide the ram based version of u-boot.  Usage sequence:

1. Ground config pin (see http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/bt/homehub.3.0).
2. Turn on router.
3. The serial terminal should show:

ROM VER: 1.1.3
CFG 04
UART

4. Under linux system  you can use follow command:
cat u-boot.asc > /dev/ttyUSB0  (ttyUSB0 should be replaced by real tty which connected to router.)
Under windows system, please use send file under yours terminal program

5.  Stars should be printed on terminal

6. After file is uploaded, u-boot command line should be present
