The non-owner review is garbage IMHO. First off, the cost of the paid version is very reasonable. It works perfectly and we tested it on 2 cloud VMs in Azure, 1 being an Exchange server and worked well for DoS attacks we were suffering from that Azure Firewall would not address. Highly recommend this product. Support responses are within 1-2 hours and very helpful in explaining how it works. This works at the System level so it is very efficient and not CPU/Network intensive. This free version is great for testing proof of concept but seriously, a license is so inexpensive that person leaving review about having to pay for it doesn't understand the value it is for the price. Open Source was probably expected but it is not Open Source so that's why I think they flamed it in a review.

firstly, all 64-bit versions are not downloaded, writes the error "503 Service Unavailable", and the 32-bit version says the error "This installer package is not intended for this platform." This is ridiculous, since any 64-bit system has 32-bit emulation, it is very stupid to put such a check in the installer, and there is no need to carry heresy that something is not working correctly there.
secondly, this is not a firewall, but an interface to a paid service, and the application is an advertis****t of their services, a blatant advertis****t.
thirdly, it's very funny to see how the author writes himself a review "looks nice, easy to use". A serious approach is immediately felt! (It's sarcasm)

1. We block certain redirects from other websites when they exceed certain security thresholds. On our website, we actively block downloads and product activations from the territories under U.S. sanctions and under other export restrictions as required by U.S. regulations. We also block downloads from certain IP addresses blacklisted by cybersecurity companies. There are also other security features in place to allow real human customers to receive a good experience on our website, while at the same time, protecting our servers.
2. All our software is digitally signed by Verigio Inc. If the MSI installer is not digitally signed, please do not install it. The latest genuine software can be downloaded from our website.
3. The product is a Firewall, not an advertisement. As of right now (GeoFirewall 4.x) the product, after the activation, can work w/o any connectivity to our servers and w/o expiration of the software. The activation can also be performed offline (w/o direct connectivity to our servers).
4. "This installer package is not intended for this platform." message is because the product includes network filter drivers. The drivers are platform-dependent per MSFT Driver Development Kit and they are certified by MSFT separately for 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. Also, the drivers are different for pre-Win10 and Win10+ systems.
5. Our support does its best to assist our customers via Email in resolving issues they encounter.
