  • Thank you very much for uploading your files here. It's charming. However, I have seen an error that appears every time I try to install the system from the livebuild (using Calamares). It would be nice if you could correct it or comment on how to solve this. :) Edit to specify that this happens trying to install it in VirtualBox. Regards!

If you explain the error, I might have some chance of fixing it. I have added a Discussion feature to the project page. Please continue this as a discussion topic instead of a review comment. Thanks.

I just tested the Xfce ISO and it runs, installs, and updates perfectly fine. The nice thing about Debian, the packages are very stable and continue to work and update well, even from slightly older ISOs. I might update the ISOs when Debian releases the 12.6 update, but even that is not a necessity.
  • Hello, I have a project, I made a special terminal, if you agree, I would like to choose your own operating system. Download Page: Since it is banned in the review, search for Codex Terminal. If it is shared by efetr, it is that project. If you comment, I will contact you. (Normally, I shared web systems, but the domain is closed for free) (If you accept, I can prepare a special version for your working system or add the code you want) (Translated from Turkish to English)
  • Thank you for the script. It is well laid out and commented so its easy to understand and modify. I have been creating Manjaro spins for a few years. I was looking into creating a Debian spin after spending years using it before moving to Manjaro and learned about your project. After a day I had a working LXQt iso. Still lots to do to get it just right, but thanks to your script I am headed in the right direction.

  • Thanks for the amazing project. I did have one issue that I wonder if anyone else may have encountered and resolved. When I build the iso and run the live environment, hostnames resolve without an issue, but once it is installed, hostname resolution no longer seems to work. I can ping ip addresses, but not using domain names. I know how to manually fix this issue once installed, but does anyone know of a fix or why it might be happening in the first place? I would have thought networkmanager would sort that out.

I have not looked at this as the system appears to work. I have not had any reports of this issue. I shall look into it. Thanks. PS - the systemd-resolved service can be enabled from my ezadmin tool, or it can be done manually. That might solve the issue. I almost always run the ezadmin tool immediately after install and do the first four options, systemd-resolved being one of those four. Maybe that is why I never noticed the problem?
  • Dude, I have a problem while building the os. This is where it stops executing : chroot: failed to run command ‘/usr/bin/env’: No such file or directory Can you please tell me what is causing this error and how to overcome this.

Without knowing exactly what you changed from my steps I cannot begin to diagnose what is causing the problem.
  • Great stable and polished distro. Not overpacked with useless apps, but contains mainly required and essential packages and settings. It's a great job from eznix, who has got an amazing youtube channel, if you guys don't know it yet. Absolutely worth checking, also downloading this distribution is something which not only Debian fans should do soon. Keep it up for the fantastic job, i'm writing it from your eznixOS. :)

Thank you for the feedback and compliment. My intention all along was to promote the tools so others would explore and build for themselves.

  • A superb respin of Debian from one of the nicest guys in the Linux Youtube community. The amount of work put into his scripts and documentation are reason enough to download and use. Brilliant.
