User Reviews

  • you can edit files directly with doublecmd even files need root, without leaving doublecmd edit url directories is my priority with files manager, nautilus doesnt have this
  • The program itself is quite nice. But I still had to uninstall it because it is sloppily programmed. There is order on all my systems. When I install a program, I decide where it is saved and where it is allowed to create shortcuts. Here it's like someone s***ting across my apartment instead of asking where the toilet is.
  • This is the best software so far! I gave up using Cocoatech software as they ended with a yearly subscription, I m so happy with Double Commander and all its features! Thank you very much! (using it on a mac)
  • Absolutely a must. Great features. Best free alternative to TotalCommander with some extra features as well.
  • The only real alternative to Total Commander on Mac. Actually, after using it for a few months, it's also great for Windows too. This is a must have. Great app. Lots of settings to play with.
