This release marks a significant upgrade to PDF handling by replacing the PoDoFo library with Google's PDFium engine. This change aims to improve compatibility and resolve parsing issues encountered with various PDF documents. A substantial part of this release involved extensive stabilization work to ensure PDFium builds and integrates correctly across Windows (MSVC), MacOS, ARM64, and with Clang compilers. Subsequent fixes address runtime issues discovered in the PDF parser after the integration.
