User Reviews

  • Dimension Recorder is very friendly add-in for Solid Works. Easy to install on Windows 7 / SW 2011. Graphical simulation in 2D Sketch - fast, easy and effective for optimization. A picture is worth a thousand words. Dimension Recorder will record any dimension during simulation. I use this application to record specific dimensions during 2D simulation - motion analysis, sketch animation and dynamic modeling. The sketch is a graphical solution of vectors relations - forces, velocity and so, and as variable I use dimensions that are driving the animation. Record several dimensions, that are solution for your problem. Export the data to Excel as a text file. Done! Compare results with Solid Works 3D Motion Analysis - it is simpler. I am pleased of Dimension Recorder and Jan, who is very kind and knowledgeable person.
