    User friendly, just great GUI, incredible in game hud and taskbar, amazing graphics improvements without loosing the doom essence

    Long time legacy user but had to find an alternative to it after upgrading to win 7 64. Tried this out and initially was ok with the graphics, there are TOO many choices for game and controller setup and the mouse was way too fast, almost unusable. Then, after figuring out how to include custom wads, I kept getting some error about seeing the snowberry.exe.log file and it never worked again. All of the wads in there worked with legacy. So I say thumbs down on this program, it doesn't even come close to legacy imho. They should make a 64 bit version of legacy for windows, there is one for linux but I am not a computer guru to be able to setup linux. Bought a cheap machine with xp on it for playing doom and doom II.

    Why i can't do apply floor textures to walls or conversely. As it were i can not play jDoom on Windows 7 x64

    Hi there guys ! thanks a lot for the job you are doing here, its great for all Doom´s fanatics..!! just one question: the first time tried to play Doom 2 using Doomsday the page showed me: "gIBSP utility not found! Please make sure that Doomsday is installed correctly! Doomsday will run without additional gIBSP map data, but you may encounter graphics and/or performance degradation! "......i could play the game Doom 2 but there is not way to end one of the maps, i mean something is wrong. Can you please help me ?? Thank you..!! Edgar G

    Excellent engine! After I tried it the first time, it immediately became my favourite engine to play DOOM. Modding features are nice and easy too.

    I ran into a Python error when I placed the app under a directory with a bullet (•) in it's name. When I changed that special character to a hyphen (-) the error went away. I would recommend this to any Doom fan, but with a caveat.
