dcm4che, a DICOM Implementation in JAVA Files

The Weasis DICOM viewer requires that a Java Runtime Environment (JRE 6 update 10 or greater) be installed on your machine to run.

Installing Weasis in DCM4CHEE
=============================

    * Download
          o The last Weasis version: weasis.war
          o The Weasis internationalization (French, Japanese, Spanish): weasis-i18n.war (optional)
          o The modified dcm4chee web interface (dcm4chee-web.war):
                + In folder 2.15.0
                + In folder 2.16.2
		For other dcm4chee versions see Rebuild dcm4chee-web from any version at http://www.dcm4che.org/confluence/display/WEA/Rebuild+dcm4chee-web

    * Place these three files into the deploy folder (server/default/deploy/) of dcm4chee.

    * Modify the permission in /dcm4jboss-web/src/etc/conf/dcm4chee-web/folder.permissions or in server/default/conf/dcm4chee-web if dcm4chee is already installed:
      folder.*=edit,move,delete,view,*export,edit.newStudyUID,mergepat,study_permission,study_permission.free_role_action,query_has_issuer folder.*export=export_tf,export_xds
      ...

That's all, now launch Weasis from the dcm4chee web portal.


Portable Weasis Version (experimental)
======================================
This distribution can be copied in DICOM CD-ROMs or removable devices as a stand-alone viewer. 
The viewer loads automatically directories configured in "weasis/conf/config.properties" (weasis.portable.dicom.directory=dicom,DICOM,IHE_PDI,ihe_pdi)
