Cool Browser Files

Welcome to Cool Browser

Cool Browser is an IDE style web client. Beyond general web browsing, it integrates
Google, Yahoo!, MSN/Windows Live, and others into a jumbo suite of web applications. 
For advanced users, it will be a platform where one can change the web.

Installation Steps:

1.  Download the latest Cool Browser release 0.2.0 setup.exe and install. 

2.  If you have already installed an earlier version, you may perform an update instead.
Start Cool Browser and go to Help/Sofware Updates/Find and Install... Confirm at each step 

3.  Verify that the version no. has changed after you restart. The latest version is: Beta 0.2.0

Change Log:

1. added Startup View where all extended links on one page can be opened or closed as a group. 
e.g you may open your Gmail, Yahoo! mail, and Hotmail or  close them all with one click

2. URL extension (i.e. ext and args name/value query) are now supported. Any online bookmark/tag service 
can be used as Cool Browser's Menu/Command System by appending ext and args to the regular link.
e.g if you bookmark/tag and open the following link, it will automatically perform Google web search on any text selection

currently supported URL extension:

ext - to specify the view in which the url will be opened: page (default), reference, search, mail, address, file, startup
args - arguments passed on to the view separated by comma: id (identifier), input (input form field for search or reference)
