RMIR.v3.2.0-bin.zip is a full installation package for RMIR v3.2.0. It is the first release since v3.1.5, as v3.1.6 through v3.1.15 were for development purposes only.

This build updates the incorporated IrpTransmogrifier to v1.2.14, updates JCommander to v1.85 and RDF4Spec_Addendum to revision 26. The main new features since v3.1.5 are:

1. The ability to import built-in setups as device upgrades so that they can be modified as required. A new button, "Import built-in setup", is present at the bottom of the Devices tab in the RMIR application and in the header of the RMDU one. Not all remotes have this ability, but for the ones that do not, this button is disabled.

2. The ability to edit built-in setups with the "Edit device" button on the General tab of RMIR. On pressing this button with a built-in device selected, it will say that this is built-in and ask if you want to convert it to a device upgrade. If you reply "Yes" and there are key moves that modify the built-in setup, it will say how many there are and ask if you want them incorporated into the device upgrade. Finally it will open the new device upgrade for editing on the Devices tab.

3. The user interface for the RMDU application has been considerably enhanced. The list of remotes now shows the signature of the remotes and can be sorted by either name or signature, and the Advanced menu has a new item, "View/Edit RDF" that displays the RDF of the currently selected remote. The RMDU Output panel now shows the name, signature and processor of the currently selected remote.

4. The Devices tab in RMIR has a new column that shows the Device Codes of each entry.

5. There are improvements to the import of KM upgrade files. There are also additions to protocols.ini and a few additional remotes are supported.

This release is installed simply by unzipping this package into an empty folder. Please note that for an installation to work correctly, this folder must not be read-only. For a Windows OS this means, in particular, that it should not be unzipped into a subfolder of the Program Files folder.

As in previous releases, protocols.ini includes no-repeat versions of certain protocols, primarily intended for use by Slingbox files. Due to the specialized nature of these versions, by default they are not loaded when RMDU or RMIR is opened. If you need these protocols, check the item "Show Slingbox protocols" in the Options menu of either RMDU or RMIR. These protocols will then be loaded in all subsequent invocations of RMDU and RMIR until this item is specifically unchecked.
