cfMesh-v1.1.1.tgz contains the source code. It can be built on Linux only. The archive contains the user guide in the userGuide folder, and the examples are located in the tutorials folder. The source is compiled into FOAM_USER_LIBBIN and FOAM_USER_APPBIN and therefore available only to the user who compiled the code. cfMesh-1.1.1-linux.run is the installation package for Linux user who do not wish to build cfMesh from source. To install cfMesh please check that you have executable permissions. You can add executable permissions by typing chmod u+x cfMesh-1.1.1-linux.run The user guide and tutorials are installed optionally. User guide is located in <installationFolder>/cfMesh/userGuide, and the tutorials in <installationFolder>/cfMesh/tutorials The installer provides a minimal part of OpenFOAM needed by cfMesh. This may interfere with an already existing installation of OpenFOAM that is sourced directly from your .bashrc or .cshrc. For such situations, we suggest you to build cfMesh from source. cfMesh-1.1.1-windows.exe is the installation package for the Windows OS. It installs MSys console used for running cfMesh. The user guide and tutorials are installed optionally. User guide is located in <installationFolder>/cfMesh/userGuide, and the tutorials in <installationFolder>/cfMesh/tutorials Please try to keep the path to the installation folder as short as possible; Windows imposes a 255 character limit.
