Create Bootable Media: a DVD, SD Card or USB Key from which to run live and / or install C4C Ubuntu. Note that our ISO is over 4GB – the single file size limit of the FAT32 file format. If not using a cross-platform app that automatically takes care of this for you (Etcher, Raspberry Pi Imager, Ventoy); SD Cards and USB Keys should be formatted as exFAT. Explore this C4C Ubuntu without making any permanent changes to the computer it’s running on. Test hardware, network and Internet connections, securely bank online, rescue files, etc. If needed, the live system includes several tools that can prepare your HDD or SSD; mkfs, parted, fdisk and GParted. You may also (temporarily) install any other disk utility – or any other software – you wish.

If / when you’re ready to permanently Install C4C Ubuntu, launch the Calamares installer from the Menu or the Desktop and provide the Live (sudo) password: c4c 22.04
