  • I had a 2500 record vcf. I didn't trust any cloud providers not to harvest that data .... this worked. It tool nearly 15 minutes to convert, but it was worth it.
  • An excellent example of a superb VBA script. My only problem was disabling Microsoft security which by default prevents VBA scripts from running automatically. You'll need to follow Microsoft instructions to enable the script to run automatically upon opening the file i.e. close the file, right click it, and enable the script to run automatically via properties. Otherwise, double thankyou to ghadlock. GOAT VBA Script!

  • Works very well, quite easy. Thanks.
  • Tried many different converters online, followed several "tutorials" and nothing worked. This converter did the job in about two seconds and the output was PERFECT. Thank you!
  • Worked 100%, fields all matched up correctly.
  • Worked immediately. Great script!
  • It worked exactly as claimed. Wonderful!
  • Setup was straightforward and the program worked well.
  • Converted 342 icloud contacts into an editable excel file in 13.84 seconds
  • Works well and quick. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge.
  • Dropping a positive note as you suggested for those using. I managed to convert a Google Domain account's VCF export off an Android to a CSV that outlook could understand for 700 contacts, imported in no time. Problem solved. I can see that decoding the VCF standard is not easy or trivia, and your efforts there, and those before you, are greatly appreciated. Why did I need your Workbook? Outlook 365 in it's infinite wisdom, will not import beyond the first contact in a multi-contact VCF file. Thanks Versit for making such a ridiculous file format.
  • Stunning! Won't open the vcf with xl 10 , opens vcf with xl 16, and of course the converted file opens in xl10. [VBA is VBA!]. Can't tell you how much time and energy was spent dealing with a smart phone. Many thanks.
  • Yes, it works !!
  • simple - works perfectly and very fast
  • This is a great service to email users everywhere!
  • Worked as stated on PC, Windows 10, Microsoft Home & Student 2016
  • Thanks Greg H. for saving me a lot of time. It worked the first time, without any issues. Could not have been any easier. Kelly D.
  • Nice! It didn't recognice and convert the "extra" Norwegian letters (ÆØÅ) correctly, but it was a easy job to do that afterwards with search and replace.
  • Amazingly easy to use! After downloading two VCF to CSV converters I found that the first app would only convert the first 5 contacts and the 2nd app would only download 50 contacts. After that I was prompted to pay. This converter is absolutely free and converted all of my 1,047 contacts. FANTASTIC converter! Highly recommend!
  • Great software. Well explained!!! THANKS A LOT!!!!
  • I'm a digital immigrant, not a native, so I was pretty intimidated about getting more than 2000 contacts converted from vcf to csv format, particularly when most online advice talked about transferring them one at a time. Delighted when I saw SourceForge had a converter in active development, and took a leap to try out my minimal geek skills. Managed to work through the steps, but hit a snag when entering the code on C drive. Greg not only emailed a code edit, which worked like a charm, but invited phone call support when I struggled with next steps. Many thanks for addressing this conversion issue, and for your patience with this digital immigrant, Greg!
  • perfectly
  • VCF Import v3.095 - Devel.xlsm I was facing a challenge in converting to a new email service, ProtonMail. The Contacts import process accepts only vCard 4.0 or .csv files. The export from my prior service was a mixture of mostly vCard v3 and some v4 entries. I needed a utility to convert that .vcf file to .csf format. A quick search brought me to Greg's project, where I downloaded his VCF Converter. My very old .vcf data contained entries that caused it to fail at first. I posted a plea for help on Greg's discussion board around noon on Saturday, and moved on to other tasks, thinking I would check back in a few days. Greg replied in about 10 minutes. We exchanged a couple emails and I sent back some diagnostic info from the debugger. I received a new version of the program the next morning, and it worked!! I am totally amazed by the level of support Greg provides on a free utility that is quite complex. He is extremely professional and so pleasant to work with. Outstanding! 5 stars!!
  • Great. Exactly what I wanted.
