    Hi, it's a wonderful software But I found a problem with Qt creator debug the code. I used the version 5.8.5, my Qt version is 5.12.1, PC version windows11 bool GuiFloatingChat::setChat( const Chat& c ) { if( mp_chat->setChat( c ) ) { setMainIcon( c.unreadMessages() > 0 ); updateChatTitle( c ); updateChatMembers( c ); mp_chat->updateShortcuts(); mp_chat->updateActions( c, beeCore->isConnected(), beeCore->connectedUsers(), beeCore->isFileTransferActive() ); return true; } else return false; } when I debug and stop on the line "return ture" , when I click "step out", It will coredump, but not show the stack, but click "continue" it work ok. I want to known the reason, Thanks a lot!!!

    Great piece of software by a dev that cares about his work and the happiness of the users using it! Program works great and as others have said Marco is quick to respond to questions, comments and requests.

    BeeBEEP is the free office messenger you are looking for. We have been using it in our dental office for months and it is great. It is fully functional, effective, full of features and Marco promptly responds to any questions you may have. I am grateful he shares this software for free!

    This project its an example of something that's well done, best then others software's that are payed and cant achieve the quality that BeeBEEP has. Marco is a developer compromised with his "child" intensively. I need one help in a New Year day and he was their to support and give me an attention that's clearly wont be done for another "big companies". I really want to thank him for this application. We are using from 3 months and Its excellent. Best regards Marco.

    Sim, é possível. Uma das guias na tela principal é chamada de "Saved chats", você pode encontrar todas as conversas salvas lá.

    Serverless, easy to deploy. Great for smaller intranet deployment on up. Works great in our spread out home office and home LAN. Not sure why we had been sitting on using Lan Messenger which hasn't been developed for 8 years but I finally bothered to replace it. This is a huge improvement. So far it functions perfectly. I'd just like to see the interface get a facelift to 2020. Note that sergy56 is the only reviewer to give this a 1 or even a 2. Considering people typically like to complain more than praise I'd say this says it all about BeeBeep. Glad I finally looked for a lanmess replacement.

    A reliable free chat app. I use it as data log with my co-worker. But i still got a problem with some chat randomly dissapeared after restart / computer sleep. nonetheless this is still on your must have app for your office. Great work devs!

    Yes, there was a bug when a computer goes to sleep. I fixed it in 5.8.3 beta version. Thank you very much!

    Buena aplicacion, antes usaba el borgchat, pero no se porque aveces se desconfiguraba y se ponia todo en idioma chino, pero con BeeBeep hasta ahora no tengo problemas, mas bien si podrias ponerle para agregar iconos personalizados en el chat algo asi como el whatsapp seria mas cool todavia y si le falta la opcion de visto, cuando alguien lee el mensaje saber si realmente lo vio o no, por un tema de control, y tambien un usuario administrador dentro de la red local en el chat que pueda eliminar mensajes en los grupos, mensajes que no son del tema de grupo y algunos hacen spam, entonces se podria borrar esos mensajes y a la vez si todos los mensajes podrian llegar aun correo electronico para que no se borren cuando uno desinstala la aplicacion, creo que con eso seria mucho mas cool de lo que ya es, gracias por compartir!

    Hello! Thank you very much. I'm having trouble creating "an administrator" without a server that can authenticate it as such. The only way is for all BeeBEEPs on the network to recognize one as an administrator. I think about it, but it will not be implemented in the short term, sorry. I created the possibility to add emojis at will by selecting a theme in a folder, but I haven't had time to write "how to proceed" yet. I will try to fix it as soon as possible. ¡Hola! Muchas gracias. Tengo problemas para crear "un administrador" sin un servidor que pueda autenticarlo como tal. La única forma es que todos los BeeBEEP en la red reconozcan uno como administrador. Lo pienso, pero no se implementará a corto plazo, lo siento. Creé la posibilidad de agregar emojis a voluntad seleccionando un tema en una carpeta, pero aún no he tenido tiempo de escribir "cómo proceder". Intentaré solucionarlo lo antes posible.

    I was looking for alternative to Lan Messenger, and found BeeBeep . Its awesome . No special configuration required to set it up. Using it for our two offices located on different location . Just used VPN to connect both office network and it Worked perfectly . It needs more exposure on internet . Thanks alot for this awesome software .

    We, (The company I work for ... so the 'Royal We') have been testing it out for a replacement for LANMessenger after we upgraded to Windows 10. We have been pleasantly surprised to find it to be a very robust and responsive program. We tested it in a per office scenario, but as of the 5.4.2 version, we have begun testing it in our Wide Area Environment. At this time, we have it deployed to 5500+ workstations running in some high latency environments as a test and it is working within out design parameters. The 700+ locations span 5000+ kilometers, split between ISP vendors and still the application works as we expected it to. To be honest, we were not expecting this level of robustness from the application.

    I can see from comments 15m ago there was no version for iOS :) I will be happy to see it now on Android. BEE ticks all the boxes for internal LAN communication! Bee itself is well drawn.

    Love it my linux and windows machines can talk easily enough! Will be able to exchange wifes with my wife who still uses windows. will there be an android or iOS app soon?

    Love this Messenger. It's broadcast options with IP's and IP subnets allow for changing networks, which works perfect for laptops on mobile internet, home LAN's and VPN's. This one connects where the others don't. And the interface and options are real good. The author is still developing this great little tool! One Option missing for me... 1. A global hotkey option would be perfect. BorgChat has a global hotkey option. I had mine set at ALT-C to bring the messenger to the front and minimize it to the tray. Not criticizing this program in any way. This is the best FREE LAN Messenger out there period. Worth a donation to the author. Thanks.

    This messenger is awesome! *PROS - cross platform messaging and file sharing is insanely fluent. - nice customized UI - very light weight - easy options *CONS - needs lots of improvement to be perfect messenger for offices. (More simplified UI and options arranged psychologically.) - small problems are there. If cons will be overcome, It'll be used by all over the world. All the best Marco.
