This is an InfraRed remote control option The new updated board hw203 version replaces the old board and schematic and uses the Focuservxxxir_DRV8825_HW203_F.ino firmware MAKE SURE TO USE THE CORRECT FIRMWARE (differences are in the way the DRV8825 is connected, in the first version it uses a sub-board, in HW203 it is mounted on the same strip board as the Nano and M2/M0 are reversed) Limited functions supported - shows basic concept Maximum Range about 5-8 meters Needs direct line of sight between IR receiver and remote control IR reciever must be mounted on outside of case At present replaces the push button switches Focuser can move +1, -1, +50 -50 and reset position to 0 If the code is changed more functions could easily be added ONLY THE SUGGESTED HX1828NEX REMOTE CONTROLLER IS SUPPORTED OTHER CONTROLLERS PROBABLY WILL NOT WORK This is provided purely as an example, but it does work! NOT COMPATIBLE WITH L293D SHIELD OPTION RECOMMENDED ONLY FOR USE WITH DRV8825 AND EASYDRIVER OPTION CANNOT BE USED WITH THE ROTARY ENCODER OPTION (ONE OR THE OTHER - NOT BOTH)
