Works great! I recommend going the Emacs + Termux route. Emacs is the operating system I needed on my old tablet!

I use Emacs for everything. Being able to use it on my phone is therefore crucial. I'm very grateful for this app! Feature request: I'd love to use EmacsClient as a graphical app connected to a non-graphical Emacs inside of Termux. This is how I use Emacs on my desktop: EmacsClient in the GUI connected to a non-graphical Emacs running on a Linux console started with this shell function: emacs_server_in_tty() { DISPLAY=:0 emacs -nw --eval '(server-start)'; }

Thanks for your words of appreciation. Unfortunately by reason of the difference in display technologies supported by termux and the android operating system, such facilities are impossible to implement.
