Starting with Alsa 1.0.27 you need at least kernel 3.x.x, as tt seems there is
no ALSA DRIVER anymore, use only kernel branch

All conditionnal from previous versions but the harware dependant ones will be
removed:

    NO_TLV			was only needed for 1.0.14 to 1.0.24 (TLV DEVEL)
    OLD_MMAP			was only needed for 1.0.15
    ALSA_PCM_OLD_HW_PARAMS_API	was only needed for 1.0.17
    ALSA_PCM_OLD_SW_PARAMS_API	was only needed for 1.0.17
    HAVE_CARD_IN_INFO

A recent version of FPC 2.6.x is needed too, old ones won't be maintained anymore


However major old stable versions are still present for older systems

Starting With Alsa 1.0.17 you need kernel at least 2.6.25 or 2.4.36
So far, old pieces of code will be stripped off soon, and only fpc
version 2.2.x or more recent will be needed and supported
