Advanced Youtube Client - AYC Reviews

It works as documented. Fast and easy. Used with success for BBC iplayer videos. One thing is missing: the option to download subtitles. I will try to edit the batch file to see if I can include the possibility to download subtitles.

I'm having a bit of a problem. When I use batch download, it will immediately say it was successful without actually downloading anything. I was having this problem on v2.995, so I updated to v3.1 and when that didn't work I tried updating youtube-dl which didn't work either. I can't think of anything else to try. I don't actually think it deserves 1 star, I just put 1 star hoping that it would be more likely to send you an alert or something.

Exactly what I was looking for. No-nonsense easy to use and quick. (Haven't had any warning, did have to replace the .exe to get it to run but that was hard to miss in the description) 3.3 Is even better, definitely easier to use and fixed my issues with refusing to download. Using this for about 1 year on different PC's without issues after ignoring the initial Windows Defender warning during installation.

I don't know if this is possible, but I would like to be able to create my own preset (for example: download in best quality in standard codec). And when I inserted a link from YouTube video, I could immediately choose a preset and download the video.

This thing works like a charm. No problems at all with the antivirus (using Webroot) .

All my virus alarms wouldn't let me even try this. It kept referring to a trojan that is commonly used to access personal computers. Now I understand false positives, but I don't think I'm going to chance something that's kicking off all of them until the program passes all of them clean. (Seriously, I have to go through all sorts of warnings before running, then I scanned it and found out why. Then scanned again and the same trojan, then even windows defendor found it so I'm playing it safe. I'll rate upwards once this doesn't show false positives or this possible trojan. I've been burned before exactly like this.

I've been using this for a while and it's always been rock solid reliable with playlist urls. I've probably tried every Firefox and Chrome extension and none of them match the ease of use of the Advanced YouTube Client. A gui might be nice, but the brilliant simplicity of the command line interface is actually perfect for an app like this.

Without a doubt the best Youtube Downloader this days. Also have constant upgrades. Just Great!
