                            YouTube to MP3 Converter
                                   (and more)

   youtube2mp3 is a simple program to download YouTube videos and convert
   them to MP3 (audio only), Windows Media, Sandisk Sansa, and other video
   formats. (It does all this for local video files, too.) It is neither
   the most feature-packed nor the most beautiful such program out there,
   but it is free for unlimited use, cross-platform, relatively
   lightweight, and quite good at what it does.

   youtube2mp3 works as a front-end to various third-party programs,
   including youtube-dl, MPlayer/MEncoder, FFMPEG, LAME, OggEnc, and more
   (see INSTALL for a complete list). It provides a graphical interface
   using the Qt toolkit, and runs on Windows, Linux/UNIX, and (probably)
   Mac OS X systems. The source code is freely available in the public
   domain, and is easy to extend to support new functionality.

   youtube2mp3 is NOT associated with Google, YouTube, Fraunhofer IIS
   (developers of the MP3 codec), etc., and the developer takes NO
   responsibility for its use, legal or otherwise.

   youtube2mp3 is released into the public domain. However, the Qt library
   and most external applications it uses are copyrighted and licensed
   under the GPL or other free software licenses. See COPYING for details.

   The youtube-dl script is public domain.

   Note that youtube2mp3 comes with no warranty, and the developer
   provides absolutely no technical support.
