Made a rebuild of XPMT-0.8 with the patched version, Now, installation from scratch should succeed. XPMT-0.9b with new implemented security role model will be released shortly

Due to missing resources the release date of XPMT-0.9b will be moved to the end of january 2006. This beta release will include a rle based security model with several default roles to choose. Sorry for the inconvenience.

From now hotfixes will be published using the patch tracking system of sourceforge. Patches for the latest active release will be marked as open and be set to closed on the release of the version this bug was fixed on. Every patch will be filled with the bug id and a description of the steps how the bug got resolved.

Due to a reported installation problem I found out that installation from scratch doens't succeed. To resolve this problem, install and start XPMT and after the 'database update error' rename the directory config/changes to another name. I will provide a fixed xpmt_data as soon as possible. Tegonal is proud to announce the stable release of XPMT-0.8. After
a two weeks testing phase and several bugfixes the new version is ready to be used as your eXtreme Programming planning tool. Please post changes requests using the sourceforge feature and bug tracking tool. Suggestions and feedback are very welcome.

Release beta version of XPMT-0.8b in time. Till the stable release of XPMT-0.8 all current postet bugs will get fixed.

The first release of the new generation XPMT was released this weekend. This Version (XPMT-0.7) is still compatible to the old generation XPMT-0.6.5, further released won't ensure this compatibility

The XPMT team is pleased to announce that the next release of XPMT, 0.7, is close to the state finish. New included features will be release and iteration planning connected to a simple resource planning.

To support project reports in pdf format the XPMT development team launched a new Opensource project called xslfo2pdf with the goal to generate PDF's from xsl-of and simple svg. Othe rbackends like RTF will be as well considered

Releases beta2. This version supports mainly editing of most of the views from beta1 release. We made also an update of the demo version lying on the Tegonal webserver.

Added screenshots of beta1 release. We will setup up the demo to the new beta1 release soon.

Created new package and release beta1 of XPMT-0.7. This version may be used parallel to the datastructure of
XPMT-0.6.5

Made a minor release XPMT-0.6.5 which bases on the same datastructure as the pre alpha version of XPMT-0.7 will base. Because XPMT-0.7 won't support all the feature from the beginning a parallel usage may be possible

Created screenshots of XPMT version 0.6.3, will add some of screenshots as a preview of XPMT-0.7 soon.

Create user mailinglist where you may post feature and support request and discuss usability. You will have to subscribe to the list to post messages.

Demo installation of XPMT updated to new version 0.6.3

Create a minor bug fix release 0.6.3. This release also supports partial time booking on bugs, tasks and todos.

Added feature forum that all users of XPMT may post their ideas about what should be included in the next major release.

We are currently planning the next major release 0.7. This release will introduce roles. We also like to make xpmt again easier to use, so we will do a hole redesign of the frontend. Any suggestions are appreciated as well as feature requests.

Created bug fix release and closed most of the reported bugs. To install, execute the sql change script. Make a DB backup prior installation. If you've got a working installation, you've got to add the variable $bug_attachement_dir="" to the secrets.inc. The server must have write access to this directory. The demo version will be update soon so you may verify the closed bugs. Have fun...

A bugrelease based on the features of 0.6 ist planned for next weak. Several old minor and enhancement bugs will be fixed.
