JXLStoKML is a simple program that will convert a spreadsheet (.xls) containing location data to way-points for use in Google Earth with the .kml file format. The user must simply select a column that will be used for the way-point "Description", "Address", and "State."
Open your spreadsheet and count left to right starting with 1. For example a typical spreadsheet uses alpha characters for the column headings (a,b,c,d...). JXLStoKML uses numeric representations of each column. While the spreadsheet can be changed to display numeric column headings it is easy to count left to right and number the respective "Description", "Address", and "State" columns.
Simply enter the column numeric values, select the "File" tab, "Open" your spreadsheet (.xls) file and the program will do the rest.
** You must be connected to the Internet for the program to function**
