How do I stop a playlist?

1. open the menu by using the right thumbstick
2. select control
3. select stop
voila

How do I stream?
when you see the file/directory list press the B button
then you'll see all the drives and relax: is one of them
select relax: and you'll get your remote directories/files

Relax doesn't work

1. sharing cd-rom(s) doesn't work (yet)
2. don't include strange characters in directories/filenames like -+-$@ etc
3. don't include spaces in filenames/directories
4. sharing networkshares doesn't work (yet)... read more

yamp v0.6 is ready and released!!!

so we can now start on 0.7

We're finishing the last parts before 0.6 is released.
At the moment I got 1 more bug 2 solve.
current list of 0.6 features:
- plays almost everything
(wav,asf,dv,wma,mp1,mp3,divx,mpg1,mpg2,quicktime,mjpeg and more)
- play list support for both video & audio files
just select files and add them to the playlist then play them and choose:
- shuffle
- next/previous song, stop
- repeat
- jpeg viewer
- stream any file from your pc using Relax (with directory support)
- xbe launcher
- auto & manual stretching
- postprocessing
- pie menu's for easy selection
- skinnable by replacing the .tga files
- subrip (.srt) subtitling support
- screen resolution is changed automaticcly based on movie resolution
- support for 640x480,720x480,720x576,1280x720,1920x1080
- IR remote support
- .m3u files support
- pause/FF

yamp now includes a jpeg viewer. You can view local or remote jpegs, add them to playlists etc

Humming and I finished the streaming today.
Now you can stream all files (audio,video,subtitles,playlists etc) from your pc using relax 2 yamp
offcourse remote directory support is included

We are currently very busy with yamp v0.6
Today we managed to fix the a/v sync problems which was bugging us for quite a while.

yamp 0.6 will have many bugfixes, playlists, streaming files from PC using Relax

Great thanx go to Troed & Fredrik. These guys have added .m3u play list support & streaming files from relax 0.5
Besides this IR-support has been added and
the subtitles are now drawn on top of the video so they show up even in stretched mode

YAMP v0.5 is now in CVS

it's mainly a bugfix version
Following things are now fixed
- xvid decoder is tested & works
- a/v sync bugs solved
- Stop movie now works
- postprocessing now really works and shows great results on screen
- drive selector added
- subtitle improved, but not perfect yet
- FF/stop/pause
- play audio only files like MP3

All sources can now be found in CVS under /cvsroot/xbyamp/xbyamp

The first version of the sources are released.<br>
Hopefully CVS will be up & running later this week
