Started back up on the code. Rather than work on the config code I became fixated on the menu code. After much tinkering I think I have most of it figured out. Should have some new and/or rearranged menu choices soon. I think once I fully learn how the menu system operates and I can document it I will start detailing the new menu system and perhaps work on the lua interface.
For now, I'm back to the code.
I'm fairly certain I will be trying for a release once I replace the config code. Out with the registry and in with a config file. Just a question of how long it takes to rip out the old code...
Seems no matter how much I do there seems to be more code to remove that doesn't belong. Found a few possible bugs. That or VC10 just doesn't like how the warzone code was written to access some DX6 functions.
Almost finished with the removal of all the PSX code. There may be a few things I will go back over that were in the playstation version that could be added into the PC version. Provided nothing breaks I will be making a file release to locate some of the original bugs (provided anyone is interested).
