I've tried using WinNMP over several years but usually give up within a week or so , why ?
It's always been the same thing - mariadb fails to start; never had any problem with any of the other pgm modules.
Recently out of frustration, did some investigation & found the cause of mariadb failing to start is replication.
In my case, deleting anything having to do with replication at WinNMP\data\MariaDB has cleared the failing to start error.
You apparently
1. have chosen to allow some aspects of replication at WinNMP\conf.
2. provide no instructions on how to disable it TOTALLY.
3. provide no instruction about recovering, without needing to reinstall everything.
Seems mighty odd, you've allowed this major flaw to linger through several versions and to debase
your otherwise excellent work you've done to provide a very useful development platform.
Am currently using - but as said at the top, I've seen the same problem with earlier vers.
