I have an iMac 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo running Mac OS 10.4.8 with 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM.

When I launch WoWmapview 2.0, it opens fine. When I click on the (START) button, I receive the following error:

Error: Path to World of WarCraft application folder is invalid.

I have reassigned the path several itmes. I have repaired permissions on the drive as well. Additionally, I have run several purges to clean the system as bext as I can to ensure that there is no error on my part.

Do you have a suggestion or an explination? I was wondering what might I be able to do to get it running.

Thank you for your assistance.

The program is built for Win32, not Mac (unless the new intel macs allow you to emulate windows? nfi never used one)
Secondly it uses the windows registry to get the path to WoW installation directory, otherwise it defaults to /data/
Thirdly its looking for MPQ files that no longer exist, unless you've renamed the archives?

I'm actually suprised it started for you at all.

He most likely means the mac version, which is at http://www.sailesha.com/wowmodelview/

I'm recieving the same error for the mac version.

    HERE IS WHAT U DO:
Put the Program WoW Map Viewer (1.0-3.0) to your WoW folder and keep it in ur wow folder and run it and locate ur wow folder once u use itwhen its in teh wow flder then it will work if u keep the patch off
