Well, I've sort of halted the development of this project after the release of Windows Vista because I believe the Windows Sidebar has a very neat clock that can be used for the same purpose as this project, so I don't see the point in keeping its development.
Despite that this project still has consistent downloads and every now and then I get an email from a developer asking me for the password used to compile it.... read more
I know I've been taking too long to make the next big release but I didn't have the time to finish it yet, although I've been working on it.
Despite that, another bug made its way to the surface and I left it there for a while but since Yuki KODAMA (http://sourceforge.net/users/netkuy/) took the time to correct it, I've incorporated his source code to the project and that's why we have this small release.... read more
Hello all again.
Although I still haven't got any suggestions (like I requested here: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=631768\), I had to make a small release (1.5.1.0) because I found a bug.
Bug 1592011 (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1592011&group_id=178840&atid=886747) was happening if the application started to run without internet connection: it crashed when trying to check for updates.... read more
Dear users,
This is your World Clock developer, crying for help. :) Since the release of version 1.5.0.0 (which can be downloaded here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/worldclock/WorldClockSetup-1.5.0.0.exe?download\), I have only one "big" feature to add to the next version: an option for getting the time from a NTP server, and not from the client's computer. Once I'm done with that, I don't know what else to do!... read more
Finally, way ahead of schedule, the new release of World Clock is here. Version 1.5.0.0 has auto-update, configurable number of clocks, and a lot of configuration options that will let you personalize the clocks the way you want it.
I hope you all enjoy it!
As usual, support, bug reports, comments and suggestions can be given through the forums.
To download the new version, go to http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/worldclock/WorldClockSetup-1.5.0.0.exe?download
I'm proud to say that version 1.5.0.0 might come sooner than expected!
The main new features for the application have all been completed now, although the actual plan was to have them done by 20 November 2006 only. The lacking tasks now are more related to installation and documentation, and the new schedule for them can be checked here: http://sourceforge.net/pm/task.php?group_project_id=49526&group_id=178840&func=browse... read more
Version 1.0.1.0 was released today with the correction of a bug (request id 1582854).
The clocks in version 1.0.0.0 were not considering the half hour for broken time zones (like GMT +5:30), and this has now been corrected.
This bug was immediately released becase it was felt that it was really important and the next big release is coming only by the 11th of December.
I really hope that there are no more actual bugs, but if you find one, please report it on the Bugs tracker, or in the Help Forum.

The first version of the World Clock for Windows has been released, and it's looking pretty neat.
Some of its features:
- Five clocks with configurable time zones and names;
- The clocks are hidden on the top of the screen, being shown only when you want to see them, and they look great;
- It supports multiple screens, so you can select on which screen they're gonna appear.
It needs Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to work, and you can download it at Windows Update, or here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en... read more
