When one variety has more than one datum for an
entry, and more than one of those datums is assigned to
the same data group (same tag), Tabulate responds
correctly with a Select Annotated Datum dialect box
that says "Select one of multiple datums defined for
Group x and Va...". But the dialog box covers the display
of the rest of the data in the entry, making it impossible
to choose wisely. If this dialog box could be forced to
the left side of the screen and possibly narrowed a bit,
then we could see what the other forms are like.
-----
There will still be a problem in views that show too many
languages for them all to appear. The only solution I can
think of for that one is for Select Annotated Datum to
contain a scrollable list for viewing all the data in the
current group. The list shouldn't be clickable, just
scrollable.
-----
I gather the end of the message is supposed to
be "Variety" and a short variety name. The message
should be wrapped, or else presented as two lines.

Bugs 870977 and 564932 address a very similar issue.
They can be resolved by eliminating the dialog boxes in
favor of superimposed text boxes just like the one
already functioning for Tabulate.Environment. Doing that
will save hours of the linguist's time and lower the
frustration level. But in this case we're dealing with a
real exception that probably does require a dialog box.
