running the launcher on windows 7 64bit gives me the following for 64bit and 32bit launchers v0.4.2.

I can confirm this. For this only happens with Java7, it works fine with Java6 (both 64bit)

Agreed - a problem with the new runtime lib. I have a fix will release a new version very shortly.
