- correction for windows spooler death after fax cancel
- some minor changes in code
updates by Miroslav Gallik
1.2.7 probably fixes Windows 2003 Server and Vista problems with adding ports
- adds the ability to set the resolution from Fine to "highest available
- adds the ability to ignore the PASV IP response, which should improve the ability to FAX over tunnels or the Internet
The ability to change the type of address book and send faxes to multiple recipients is not in this release, it is expected to be in the next release.
At the risk of hearing, "finally!" the niggling issue where windows would appear under other windows has been solved. For those who care, those dialog boxes had to be completely rewritten and implemented in a way that allowed better control over them.
Please consult the release notes for upgrading.
Enjoy!
Those of you who FAX A4 paper sizes have a solution in this version, that allows you to set A4 as a default.
Also in this version: the ability to set the type of notification you want to receive -- on success, failure, both, or neither.
The update itself is fairly minor: it takes care of a problem understanding the output of HylaFAX servers which send out reverse DNS warnings. If you're running 1.2.2 and you don't have this problem, you can skip the update.
Also new with this release, a source code bundle for those for whom CVS doesn't behave itself, or when it's offline, or simply for convenience.
Enjoy!
The simple address book's location is now configurable -- note to upgraders, you should reconfigure the port to set the directory. Also solved are issues with Windows 2000 where a spurious dialog box would pop up. Canceling a fax now works as one might expect, and the dialog should no longer appear under the printing application. Enjoy!
Nifty new mini-address book and graphics courtest of Blaž Primc.
Enjoy!
What a lot of work for such a little bug: problem where the box wouldn't pop up is solved, code has been cleaned up significantly.
This version removes some debugging code that crept into 1.1.8, causing (annoying) informational messages to appear under Windows 2000. If you're not seeing these messages, you don't need the update.
I'm please to announce that I was *finally* able to reproduce a niggling XP bug that would prevent port configuration, and then fix it. Enjoy!
An installer update which will hopefully take care of the XP issues that people have been experiencing. The DLL has not been updated, and currently matches the source code in CVS.
Version 1.0 of the Winprint HylaFAX print monitor has been released and is available for download.
