Glad news, the NewDrawer program finally gets closer to what I intended it to be. News in 0.3.6, Now it creates the info files as it should be done. Thanks goes ou to Porodoro on Programmers Heaven for his file copy routine that I recieved from you. Once version 0.3.6 is out I'll add you to the code contributors on the WinAmInfo project web.
I Shipped a version without the working copy routine included! Well well, I gotta make sure it works then I'll have a patch up on sf.net.
Must have been a short maintainence since the site is running again.
Profusehost.net is down due to maintainence. Dunno how long it has been down, but it will sure be back later today or tomorrow.
Damn this NewDrawer project causes trouble for me, not only because help file has messed links in it, the copy procedure refuses to work as designed. I'll have a temporary patch up here so you can create the drawers.
And just so you know, the info files have to be stored on c: in the root due to this erratic behaviour. Bug posted in Bugzilla.
If you know anything about Delphi then please feel free to contribute with your knowledge.
just a short note that the WinAmInfo project web is opened up since today. It contains more indepth descriptions of what the project is all about + a complete linkmap to this Sourceforge.net site.
Fixed the help files so they have a new version containing some info on the license agreement as well as info on how to donate money to the project
First component of the WinAmInfo project is finally released, and even tho it is a minor component, it is a vital component since it actually plots out the guidelines on how the project will deal with folder and it's related .info files.
This program creates a new folder on your PC harddisk and makes it AMIGA compatible by fitting the directory with a .info file inside it as well as adding an .info named after the folder you just created. When these files are present older AMIGA's with OS 1.3 and below can access the files via the AMIGA WorkBench.
