Hi, Trying to set up webvcrplus 0.5 for the first time. I got xmltv set up (*whew!*) as well as getting webvcr set up. However, I am having problems getting listings.pl to run. I don't see anywhere in the documentation where it mentions direct interaction with mysql other than setting it up. I don't see available db schema or any other data to set up the db, so I get the impression that it is all being taken care of by webvcr. Note that this is on a Deboan/sid box. That said, I went in and set a root password for my mysql database. I then ran webvcr's setup.pl, and I got all of the files created, then the Installation complete message. I ran listings.pl and got the following: [defiant /var/www/html/webvcr]# ./listings.pl Gettings listings for XMLTV DBI->connect(database=;host=) failed: Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO) at ./listings.pl line 18 What am I doing wrong/missing? -- --Brad ============================================================================ Bradley M.
