Two problems:

The root cron does not set the environment variable
$HOME so the v4lctl cannot find the /root/.xawtv file
in order to change the station. I had to copy the
.xawtv file to / to get it to work.

The v4lctl command, in order to change the "station"
has to have the same description. This is too much
work for me, so I have changed the command in
chanprog/xawtv to:
