#52 Steps to install a new module

Hi,

On the "Install module" screen there is apparently the possibility to select a file and install a new module from that file. I've never seen modules for Webminstats separately from the project so I was wondering what a module installation file should look like? Is that some archive (.zip, .gz, etc.) with files for the module maybe? I believe I read all the docs for the project but never encountered any references for what each file of a module exactly is for, is it optional, and so on.

Could you guide me on how to create that installation file that I can upload and have a new module installed in Webminstats, please? I guess that would include details on the format of the installation file and a list of the basic files that a module should consist of.
