WebManager provides file-sharing capabilities for directories anywhere on your system! Extremely customizable, very user friendly, and graphically oriented. Very close to local file managers....such as Konqueror/Windows Explorer/etc... in functionality and prowess.
Sorry about the delay, I haven't had time to post the stuff. To be honest, I haven't really even thought about it. But here it is, with a few added bonus features.
Finally releasing to the public! Been in use by my friends and me for a while now. Moved from the single servlet to a web-app that uses JSP and Servlets.
WebManager 4 Features:
- Modify the JSP pages to fit your look and feel!
- Users and passwords stored in an MS-Access database.
- Search for files throughout a shared filesystem.
- Change themes.
- Upload/Download files.
- Make Directories.
New Features:
- Security Added: unlimited accounts.
- Multiple Filesystem mounts.
- Delete Files/Folders added and made beautiful.
I originally started WebManager because I wanted a way to share my MP3s and other files over my home network with other OS's that didn't necessarily support Windows Sharing very well (BeOS, Linux, Solaris). I tried to see if there was anything out there and there was: FileManager! HOWEVER, the people wanted 5000$ for the source! Now I give my source and binaries away for free that does *almost* everything there's does (I didn't feel the need to move/rename files...it would be easy to implement...look for it in release 3)
