#80 When reinstalling from 1.4.0 war initialization stalls

For some reason our installation was not picking up on the JavaTddPlugin and the CppTddPlugin; we got messages like this:
ERROR [main] GradingPlugin: Error installing new plug-in
"JavaTddPlugin": You already have an installed plug-in with this name.

We tried to reinstall from the 1.40 war (BTW, why isn't there a newer war posted?), but installation does not complete, and catalina.out contains this message:

ERROR [http-8080-1] Application: Client thread http-8080-1 is still waiting for initialization to complete (500 sec).
ERROR [http-8080-1] Application: Client thread http-8080-1 is still waiting for initialization to complete (1000 sec).

Any thoughts?

I was getting this error and I thinks it's a permissions problem as I found the two plugins in my web-cat storage directory. In my case this directory was set to /usr/web-cat-storage. The plugins were installed in here in the UserScripts folder under my domain and username i.e. /usr/web-cat-storage/UserScripts/NUIG/chris. I got around it by wrapping all of the files in the JavaTddPlugin directory into a new jar, deleting the original directory and reuploading the jar. Not the ideal fix but it appears to work so far
