I'm in a corporate environment so I need to use a non-authenticating proxy. Google Wave Notifier will allow me to enter the proxy information but doesn't seem to store it. If I exit options and go back in the setting is back to the default and my proxy information is blank. Where are the options stored? Is there a way to alter them outside the program?
The proxy settings are stored in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_USER\Software\WaveNotify. The keys that store the proxy settings are prefixed with "Proxy." I will however verify if I can replicate your problem and see whether I can fix it.
Can you please verify that you are at version 10.1.30.43 and, if not, download the latest version from http://sf.net/projects/wave-notify?

It looks to correct in the registry but doesn't display in the options (but still doesn't connect). I do have the 10.1.30.43 version.
Would it be possible for me to get an export of the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WaveNotify registry key. Maybe from the data I would be able to infer the problem. You can send this to my e-mail address pvginkel at google dot com to make sure no sensitive data will be publicly visible. Note that the password is encrypted with a key connected to your user Windows account so it is not possible to infer your googlewave password from such an export.
Sorry, wrong e-mail address. The correct one is pvginkel at gmail dot com. Apologies.
