WebApplicationBuilder, http://www.skip-consulting.de/wab, now supports JavaScript syntax check.
The syntax of the javascript can be checked before code generation. This speeds up the development. Before the script could only be checked at runtime.

16 April 2002, The first application (MORE Management Operational Risk Environment) based on WAB and WABClient technology has connected the application server in Frankfurt a.M. (Germany) from New York (USA) via a secure socket layer connection (SSL).
SSL will be supported in the next release of WABClient and makes the connection and therefore the data transport from the client tier to the middle tier secure.
This was a big milestone in thin client computing.

WebApplicationBuilder is an application developing system to build and generate user interfaces and web applications. One target of WAB is to generate WABClient applications, 100% Pure Java Thin Clients, which are still productive in the banking industry.

WABClient now supports multithreading, so that swing can paint while waiting for other processes to finish.
Cell color in tables can now be changed for each row/column combination.

A bugfix for the WABClient has been released.

The new release of WebApplicationBuilder supports WABClient the 100% Pure Java Thin Client application framework based on XML and javascript.

Design your windows using the visual designer of WAB, extend the windows with javascript, generate java source code for WABawt, compile and deploy the servlet and run the WABClient on the servlets URL and ready is your Thin Client application.

WebApplicationBuilder has been released as JBuilder OpenTool Plugin.
We decided to put this project to OpenSource to let more developers participate in this project.
