VOEvent / News: Recent posts

The Astro::GCN and Astro::VO::VOEvent Perl modules have been imported into the Sourceforge CVS repository and made available under the "perl_modules" CVS module name.

An initial pre-Alpha file release of the Astro::GCN and Astro::VO::VOEvent Perl modules been placed onto the Sourceforge site. Additionally an initial release of the GCN Server Perl script which will take a GCN packet and convert it to a VOEvent document has also been made available.

The intention is that the GCN Server script will be developed into a full blown web service which will serve as a VOEvent brokering service.
