This project started as a way for my daughter's school to keep track of visitors and volunteers into the school with the following goals:
-- automate the process as much as possible
-- track volunteer hours for individuals and groups. Also classify what categories & subcategories for hours
-- provide current and historical data on visitors and volunteers
-- generate statements and reports for volunteering necessary for grants, resource requirements & other things

The clipboard sign-in/out is gone. This is a web-based program so it doesn't need to be installed on a laptop. It can be used as an independent station or by a facility assistant workstation.(whoever processes guests) Currently working on tablet compatibility so that an iPad can be utilized as a check in/out station.

Requirements:
-- Web server
-- MYSQL database
-- PHP
-- (suggested install: phpmyadmin)

This program is intended to be used as a station with a barcode scanner, although the "barcode" can be manually entered. It is designed to use with either reusable visitor badges that have a barcodes on them or printed 3x2 labels. y.

--- iPad / Tablet compatibility with scanners for leaving visitors/volunteers
--- Installation is now done with a web-based platform.
---- Now supports label barcode printing (3x2 initially). Can choose between fixed ID cards and printed labels.
**Kiosk mode for browser required if printing labels. See site for assistance
--- Enables choice of Modes: Visitors only, Volunteers only, or both
--- Enables choice of Volunteer registration: done at reception / admin / office or self registration
--- Allows for choice of use of group memberships for tracking of volunteers. Recommended off if self-registration is used

Also - my apologies. In working on the .95 update, I found several places where things were "hard-coded" like titles and such. Corrected. ;/

Still on the way::
--- Email notification of administrators / staff when people forget to sign out
--- Email of volunteer hours tracked to Volunteer emails if on file (this is done on a basic level, but requires loosening email requirements to utilize phpmail) Developing a more secure email of admin & user notification, account statements.
--- Volunteer mobile ID barcodes for quick sign-in/out using either screen identification or NFC recognition of mobile devices for volunteer identification.
