I'm glad to say that a working beta version it's avaible.
The package include PostgreSQL v8.1.4, Visionary Professional v0.1.0 and the bd builder to build visionpro database.
So, thereisn't necessity to install database manually, just run the installer, install psql, visionpro and the installer build the database. Nice. Again, I'm waiting for your feedback.

Today I finished the pre-alpha version of visionary professional.
I'm glad to say that the basic functionality of the software are working good, the access to postgreSQL, login, etc etc.
The next step is to code the control tool.
I strongly encourage all to download this version and test it, 'cause I need the feedback of how the things are going on.
You need a postgreSQL server instaled locally with a database called "visionpro" created to use the visionpro!

The interface is almost done but the program doesn't have functionality yet. However, the version avaible for download is for testing purposes, and I'm waiting suggestions from the community to make a better work.

Finally the database definition is done.
I´m working hard on the program and soon there will be screenshots!
The idea is publish an pré-alpha version and some screenshots to give an idea of what the program will be.
I´d like to say that suggestions of all kind are welcome. The projects will be to corporative environments and needs a lot of tests!

I think soon there will be an alpha version... I´working hard on the database an the model and inplementation are almost done.
The next step is build the interface, a long path to walk.

Lazarus (the environment that I´m developping the project) has ver few documentation... Although the foruns and their Home Page are great, access a database is being a pain.
Well, the library used to access the data will be SQLdb and the SGBD postgree.
I got access and made some SQL commands, but I dunno how to submit the SQL commands without got an error...
That´s it for today.

Ok, i´m starting the project (it will be functional until june) and the first task will be the database. Any comments are welcome.
