Hello! I have a problem with my pokemon emerald file on gba emulator. Today i was trying to do a trade with pokemon fire red and pokemon emerald and during this process i lost my pokemon emerald file. Now, every time i load the game it says that it has been erased due corruption or damage. I want to know if there is any way to recover the game. Can you help me?

The website needs updating then... I clicked the top Github link here https://sourceforge.net/projects/vbam/support?source=navbar In hindsight I see now that that doesn't actually take you to Github. I assume Sourceforge stops you from linking to other respository websites. It looks like my issue was already reported: https://github.com/visualboyadvance-m/visualboyadvance-m/issues/158

on vba-m.com we have links for github, even have a news post about the move to github issue trackers. Also on the projects (sf.net) I clearly state in the description that we moved to github. I've just been avoiding deleting the project page sadly. I may have to do that anyway.

I have to Alt-Tab or Ctrl-Alt-Delete to be able to kill the emulator (it seems to suppress Alt-F4) and then I can re-launch the emulator in a windowed state.

I just want to add a though: It would at least be a good idea to have two separate video settings for each platform (GB/GBC and GBA). So that e.g. GBA could use magnification 1 x but GB/GBC magnification 2 x. Same with filter settings.

What bout a simple macro editor or sth similar? It accept key or joypad input and convert them into desired keystrokes? Nothing need to be complex, just a simple built-in key-mapping utility

Okay, so years later I've got some more stuff to talk about. So back then I was apparently happy that I've found a workaround in my code (writing zeroes to the DMA3 regs) to prevent the issue (which doesn't really make any sense) but after some reinvestigation I've come to the conclusion there must be an issue with the emulator. I wasn't able to reproduce this issue in No$gba Debugger 2.8f, higan v104 or mGBA. I've used a real BIOS with all of them. So, one of the problems I have is debugging this....

Save states can be deleted by navigating to the place where they're saved. Usually, this is in the same folder as the roms that you're emulating. This isn't a "bug" with the emulator, so please, try not to waste their time having to close your post that doesn't belong here.
