Version 1.0.0 of USyncTheMonkey is now available for download!

USyncTheMonkey allows you to update your mp3 files with rating tags from your iPod.

The problem:

You own an iPod and rate songs on it. At home you don't use iTunes to listen to your music or you have a multimedia device that plays mp3s straight from a file share.

In either case, when you rate a song on your iPod (anything from 1 to 5 stars) you would like that same rating to be applied to the corresponding mp3 file on your PC. Synchronizing with iTunes does not do the trick - iTunes will update its internal database but I does not update rating tags on your mp3 files. If you use anything other than iTunes to play your music you will not see the synchronized ratings.
