Thomas Gerlin is new developer in Ummon chatterbot team. Welcome.

GTK Ummon for X11 (and perhaps Windows at a later date) is now available in CVS. Starting with the next release, it will be developed more thoroughly. For a screenshot go to http://ummon.sourceforge.net/gtk.html

Another developer has joined today. Welcome goes to Corey Taylor (vejita)

The release of 0.1.3 marks the focus of the project being directed towards the AI instead of the user interface. Developement of the user interface will continue, of course, but we are now actively discussing design and implementation of the AI.

In addition, we have a seperate distribution for Unix and Windows users/developers now. The Unix distribution is in the .tar.gz and the Windows distribution is in the .zip. The primary difference is the inlcusion of Makefiles in the .tar.gz and VC++ Project files in the .zip.... read more
