#1 Mac OS install directions

I have looked at the sourceforge site and at https://ufoai.org, there does not seem to be much documentation on how to install this game on Mac OS. I am pleased to announce that MacPorts have create a port for this game.

To install this game using MacPorts enter this command: sudo port install ufo-ai

I ask that this information be added to this page: https://ufoai.org/wiki/Download.

MacPorts does have the ability to create standalone installers of ports. Let me know if you are interested in having one made.

Hi! Could you explain a bit more? I don't own a Mac neither familiar with its packaging systems.

MacPorts has the latest stable (2.5) in it? Should we point to additional documentation to set up MacPorts?

Yes sure. MacPorts is the apt command for Mac OS. It allows the user to install software without having to deal with dependencies.
