Hi there! Very late reply. I think the recording problem was fixed in 2.1.18 but I only got round to packaging the 2.1.17 version for debian. Looks like they have now packaged 2.1.19 so I expect it will end up in Ubuntu eventually.. James
Hi I quite realize that developers have little free time on their hands and that other things create a situation in which the developer has to reallocate resources. However, I'd just like to comment that I have always preferred Tunapie over other such apps, and yes, I have used Streamtuner, but I still just prefer Tunapie and I actually promoted it at the Kubuntu forums in a thread about "K ParadigmShift", which is my "tweak" about using Kubuntu on a big screen t.v. using a "wave in the air mouse"...

I found Tunapie in Software Manager on Linux Mint and it is exactly what I had hoped to find, except that two core functions don't work. It never finds anything on the shoutcast server, ever. My Onkyo receiver, Samsung TV, Roku and my android tablets all can, and Tunapie works with Icecast, so I have to assume that my internet connection is fine and Tunapie is using an outdated address or link to the Shoutcast server. Also, the 'Info' function never returns anything at all. I would like to get the...
Sorry for the very late reply. Have you tried changing the server in preferences...
