Hi! Told you I'd be back...
This is the first release of the brand new ToXic Chat written in Qt 3.3.
Both server and client should build and work OK on Linux.
Both server and client should build OK on Windows, but only the client will work (check the source code, especially server.cpp).
I couldn't supply Windows binaries because there's no free Qt 3.3 for Windows. If someone wants to help me out, here's the procedure:
- build a Windows client
- send the binary to me (silvian86@yahoo.com - should accept up to 10 Mb of data)
- I'll upload a Windows installer for ToXic Chat, the client and mention you as a contributor
I didn't test on Apple Mac because I don't have an Apple :( (again, see the source code, especially server.cpp)

This is called "proof of life" :) We made the site look even better. Most of the buttons work now and we are ready for a beta release! Oh... Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

ToXic Chat is still under development. The site is under construction and you can grab the latest chat version from CVS. Here's some info on how to do that on Linux:
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@toxic-chat.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/toxic-chat login
(leave the password blank by pressing RETURN)
$ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@toxic-chat.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/toxic-chat co -P ToXicChat
