Gemarah charts 1.0 released

A milestone version of Gemarah charts, a subproject of Torah Tools, has been released. Gemarah charts consists of a set of printable charts that allow easy tracking of Gemarah study and review.
The new version allows printing in both letter and A4 formats, and is now available as an Excel file or as a PDF.

Daf test 0.3 released

A new version of Daf test has been released. Daf test is a part of Torah Tools, a collection of utilities for the promotion of Torah study. Daf test helps you memorize on what page each Gemarah is to be found. It gives you a test to take after you learn a Perek or Mesechta that requires you to choose the correct location for a displayed Amud of Gemarah.
The new version has major improvements, including the ability to be tested on any combination of Dafim, Perakim, Mesechtos, or all of Shas.

Gemarah charts 0.2, a Torah Tools project, has been released. Gemarah charts is a set of printable charts to help track reviews of Gemarah.
The new version contains the remaining Mesechtos which weren't completed in previous versions, as well as a few minor formatting changes.

First version of Torah Tools released

A functioning version of Torah Tools, a collection of utilities which assist Torah study, has been released. Torah Tools currently consists of two projects, Daf test and Gemarah charts.

Daf test is a Java program which tests the user. The program presents a selection of an Amud, and the user has to identify where the Amud is found. This allows people to remember Daf numbers, enabling people to remember a short general overview of large pieces of Gemarah, and assists them in finding Gemarah's in the future.... read more
