In trying to install the TOM v0.9.3, I am getting the error message "No connection to the database!". I tried to perform the install using both a local (to the server with mysql and apache2) browser (FF3), and also from a browser (FF3) on another computer on the local network. The server is a Debian Lenny server with MySQL 5. The port is 3306 and the socket is at /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock. I have done countless installs of web-based PHP-driven applications without any issues. I can also access the DB for admin purposes using phpmyadmin and MySQL Administrator GUI.
Has anyone experienced this problem? If you solved it, please share how?
Does anyone else have any ideas what may be wrong here?
Thanks,
Derek G

It is required to create the database before running the install-script. We will update the readme and the install.php to make it easier to understand.
Thanks for your feedback via mail and forum.

I was using this for my employees to track time sheets. Once February 1st hit, my employees could no longer log thier time. I have ready all the notes and it states that I need to "FINALIZE THE TIME SHEET" Can you please explain to me how to do this?
I have look through every tab and have not been able to find the "Finalize timesheet".
Thank you for your help,
Amanda
