Hey! Guess what! Themis is still alive!

Yes, I know I'm probably stating the obvious to those that follow the mailing lists or watch the cvs repository, but the project is still moving forward.

Just thought I'd mention that.

I'm also in the process of adding a Themis-users mailing list for... well... users. In theory, there will be some of those one day. :-)

Confessions and Ruminations

First of all, while I'm going to continue to remain anonymous for the time being, I will make a small confession. I am one of the 28 Be employees laid off on Tuesday, July 31. Still Not Dead!

So there!

Once I polish these up (http and cache plugins, and the plugin manager) to a better but not completed state, I'll commit them to the CVS repository and get to work on the HTML parser and tag plugins. Then we'll have something that can be demonstrated to various Be sites.... read more

Reports of Themis Demise: Greatly Exaggerated

For those of you at least slightly interested in Themis, the project is not dead. My real world life has been interfering with development a bit over the last month, but the project is not and has never been dead.

Themis continues.

The biggest stumbling point up to now, and still on going, is that SourceForge is redesigning the site piece by piece, this remodeling process has broken the cvs history indicator on the site, but if you actually view the repository:... read more
